thursday the 24th was an excellant sighting i was walking back and saw several of the color modulating variety of craft moving about the sky visibility was fantastic the milky way could be seen in exquisite detail the craft moved about with some erratic jiggling but in general moving along a consistent path i brought mother out of her caravan to see them and she found it interesting to see she then went back in i continued watching as they rendez-voused with one another and some left at the horizon while others appeared from afar there were dozens aloft when the meteor showers started hundreds of meteors shimmering down from the skies like celestial fireworks everywhere one looked ~ i was at the supermarket and all the grapefruits were pink and yellow which was surprising i asked where the normal purple grapefruits were and they said that there was no such thing ~ met this lady for coffee who had the same dreams and unusual experiences we realized that there was a building on the corner two days ago and now there was only a vacant lot and always had been a vacant lot and the building that had been there never was there anymore so i never had coffee with her again it was too dangerous ~ there was this knot, a sheetshank and it came undone from the stainless steel loop sewn inside the corner of the canvas sail so i went up front to put it back and the knot was still tied but that was not possible ~ the only coffee shop that was open at eight sunday morning could not change the bill since i was the first one in and the register was empty so i ate the pastry and drank the coffee and then left for the nearby independently owned bookstore where i found a single copy of an enormous tome postulating a grand unified field theory based on microtonal harmonies i recognized the graphs because they were the same ones i drew when i discovered the same grand unified field theory almost twenty years before although the connections to unusual scales had never occured to me i asked them who at the store had gotten the idea to stock this book and they said no one the author himself had come by personally only two days before from the distant city he was from and asked them to carry the numbered edition of a limited private printing so they put it on the shelf figuring it was a curiosity that would remain there i bought the book and went back to the coffee shop to pay for the coffee |
