Suruti Guitars
Electric samisen, electric sitar, plenum guitar, just guitar.
An electric samisen, the electric sitar or
more properly suruti guitar, as it is
fretted for 22 surutis in the octave,
unlike half that on a sitar. There is
a plenum guitar with one drone string
and one string attached to a modifed
whammy bridge, for either a pitch
bend up or down, along with the fretless
fingerboard. And a just guitar with 15
fret and tuned in fifths.
